According to their website:
“We are the first real estate search engine of its kind that helps you find bad neighbors before you move so you don't regret the purchase of your new house, home, condo or apartment. RottenNeighbor is also a tool for real estate agents to market their services and discover homes that they can feel more confident in showing knowing there are not bad neighbors nearby.”
Sounds like a great idea for a similar website for weeding out the “bad” insurance agents that so many people unfortunately come across. It would be great if each time a person was going to sit down with an insurance agent they could check a website to see if that agent had received any negative comments from previous clients.
If a certain agent is really pushy, is trying to fit one product into every person’s situation or never returns phone calls from existing agents, people have the right to know this information. This type of resource would either force some agents to change their ways or bump them out of the industry entirely.
Do you think you’d benefit from RottenNeighbor.com or a similar site for insurance agents?

HECK yes! Information like this is of immeasurable worth when it leads to making a decision about where to live. Even the most beautiful home can be ruined by horrible neighbors, just as even the best professionals in an industry (insurance, medicine, law, whatever) can have their collective reputations sullied by unscrupulous colleagues in the same field. The only problem is the potential for people writing unsubstantiated falsehoods about others, which could be a very real issue.
