Beretta USA Corp. Gives $10,000 Coverage To Law Enforcement Officers
I’d have to say that this is a first in my recollection for a gun company.  According to National UnderwriterBeretta USA Corp. is offering active law enforcement officers who buy its Px4 Storm pistol a $10,000 line-of-duty benefit.”

Not only will this free coverage last for three years from the date of purchase but also “the program does not require any medical exam.”  If you’re in law enforcement and like the Beretta brand then this purchase seems like a noberetta_px4_storm_pistol.jpg brainer.

This offer of coverage is being extended to “local, state and federal law enforcement officers in the United States and its territories.”

Have you ever heard of another gun company offering this type of plan in the past?  I wonder if this enticement will actually sell more pistols for Beretta.

During my time as a corpsman (field medic) with the Marine Corps infantry, the Beretta M9 was my personal sidearm (accompanied by an M16 or 12g shotgun in some instances, but always with the M9). It was a decent pistol, and I had no reliability issues with it other than I would have liked a little more oomph than a 9mm. Blah blah blah. Anyway, I am surprised and heartened to see that Beretta is making this insurance offer to law enforcement personnel - aside from being a fine marketing tool, it's a great and tangible thing to do for men and women in uniform.
