The recent release of nude photos online of 18-year-old High School Musical star Vanessa Anne Hudgens has created quite a media stir. No you won't find any of those photos of this blog but I will say that these photos are going to help her career immensely.
Case in point, I've never heard of Vanessa until these photos were released. Now I'm sure I'll quickly open up my Netflix account and add High School Musical to
my queue. Maybe not, but now I know who she is as do many thousands more potential fans and nude photo searchers.
Whether or not she orchestrated the release of these birthday suit pictures or not she's certainly benefiting from the buzz in exposure and monetary terms. If the mainstream thing doesn't work out I'm fairly certain a huge paycheck awaits her in the adult world.
If she did indeed release these photos on purpose do you think any less of her or would you stop supporitng her movies?
I'd try to give her the benefit of the doubt hoping she just made a (big) lapse in judgment. But it does make me wary of her a bit - what she might do in the future.
