Is Alan Greenspan More Boring Than An Insurance Agent?

With the recent book by Alan Greenspan, "The Age Of Turbulence", hitting the bookshelves I had a thought. I've read some interviews with him and seen him speak on several occasions and I've come away not only generally confused but really bored out of my mind.

Do you have to be an economist or very interested in the U.S. and other economies to be interested in what he is saying?  Would you rather listen to an insurance agent tell you the inner workings of a life policy or watch Greenspan give testimony or even be interviewed by John Stewart?

I think I'd go for the insurance agent but would not be too thrilled tolisten to either. If you are planning on reading the book I wish you the best of luck in your journey. Let me know if you like the book and whether or not you agree with his outlook on our present world.

In short, YES, Greenspan is more boring than any insurance agent. However, the fact that he took out the ultimate entertainment insurance policy (being interviewed by Stewart) leads me to believe that he is, at least, aware that he is boring. Maybe there is hope for the fellow, yet.
