
It appears health care costs are the culprit according to survey results of health system executives and interviews of “120 health care thought leaders.” I’d imagine the cost of health care is going to be similar from country to country. Sadly “only 26% of survey participants said government and private initiatives
The bottom line is the healthier people are the less likely they’re going to get sick and end up in the hospital. Don’t most of us want to feel better and be more active?


The costs of health care are staggering in the States, certainly (insurance policies are through the roof in the state of Maine, where I reside), but apparently it eats up a huge chunk of change everywhere in the world. The problems of aging, illness, and injury are universal, which leads to a universally-shared difficulty of paying for the care that everyone needs!
