I posted before about the
real time operating system and its usefulness for independent agents. A survey has been conducted to help bolster the image of the real-time software. IVANS of Stamford, Connecticut “released the results of 318 insurance agents who said using real-time solutions offered by their carriers achieved time savings of more than 50 percent when processing transactions such as quoting, billing and claim inquiries, loss runs, and policy views” according to
National Underwriter.
The real time system makes life easier for agents by allowing access to all carrier information on one client with the touch of a single button. Interestingly agents

that are still using “carrier proprietary solutions and Web sites said that technology made their job more difficult.”
The software is actually free and made easily available at the website
getrealtime.org. Are you currently using the software and has it made work a little easier?
