
A young woman with a microphone is on the streets of New York going up to strangers and asking them “Do you have health insurance?” Not surprisingly their answers show that a fair amount of people actually don’t have health coverage. I’d be curious to know how many people she walked up to didn’t want to divulge if they had coverage or not.
However, I would have to agree with the interviewer that health insurance in the U.S. sucks. Someone should actually do a long series of interviews with people on the streets about health care. Go to many U.S. cities and speak with people from different economic standings and cultures and see what they have to say.
