The informational portal NewRetirement offers, “personalized, comprehensive and unbiased retirement information and services” according to their website. Just taking a cursory glance at their site I can see that they do offer information on a variety of different retirement related products and issues.
As I click on some of the main navigation links I’m pleased to see even more links for specific information related to that topic. As an example, after clicking on “Long-term care insurance” under the Asset Protection category I’m brought to a page with a decent amount of introductory information about LTC insurance. They also have other links for LTC including For Whom When Why, Selecting Best Policy, Tips/Questions, News and Get Quotes.
The same rule seems to apply when I click on Annuities and Life Settlements. There is a plethora of information, which will really help out those people that know nothing about these types of products. You can also receive quotes for specific products or call their toll-free number. I’m not sure if the website has licensed agents that’ll actually sell a policy or contract to you but at least you can be sent in the right direction. 
The New Retirement website also has a detailed retirement calculator that graphically depicts how long your retirement assets will last in retirement as you input information. Knowing how much money you should be saving is just as important as knowing how long that money will last in retirement. Oftentimes retirees are years into their retirement and realize that they might outlive their income, a scary but real prospect.
Another important part of the NewRetirement site is the fact that they have placed the BBB logo on their website. This logo definitely helps give the site more reliability and trustworthiness in the eyes of visitors.
Overall NewRetirement.com is a quality site chalk full of information about retirement, financial advisors, annuities, health insurance and many other products and issues facing pre-retirees.
