The insured can even pick the amount of money to include in the annual cards $100, $250 or $500. The program is funded by a permanent whole life policy. The cards and money will keep being sent to the grandkids or beneficiaries for the remainder of their lives! I like the idea for its originality but don’t you think it’s a bit odd to receive a card and money from a long deceased grandparent?
What is your take on this type of insurance? Would you like to be the recipient of a card and money from your grandparents for the rest of your life?
I have to say, it seems a little strange, to me. I mean, insurance for birthday cards? What will this lead to, Christmas present insurance? Yikes.
