Here is a list of the services provided under the plan:
“An annual family planning exam that includes a pap smear and a breast exam.
Lab work.
Various medically prescribed family planning methods such as pills and injections.
Tubes tied for women 21 years of age or older.
Special help from a nurse or a social worker to support the woman's effort to continue with her personal pregnancy spacing plan.”
To apply you’ll need to visit the Alabama Department of Health, your county health department or “providers of services to pregnant women.” If you know someone in Alabama that might qualify for this plan then please make them aware of Plan First.

This is an important subset of our society to receive these types of insurance benefits... America's prenatal care is sorely lacking, and this could be a plan which leads to helping women who really need this type of health care intervention. How is Alabama funding this plan?
