 Insurers can fight for “grants of up to $10 million.” I’m not quite sure what the  money can be used for but I’m sure the insurers can figure something out. It will be interesting to see if this new pile of money will be a big enough enticement for insurers to enter the Louisiana market again. |

It certainly would be cool if politicians could talk insurers into coming back to Louisiana. Unfortunately insurers are looking at their bottom lines instead of thinking about the well being of homeowners. Thanks for the comment.
