Who Else Wants Better Technology From Insurance Carriers?
Are you not getting adequate tech support from your insurance carriers?  Is it hassle to receive important client information in a computer file or do some carriers just flat out refuse to offer the computer file option over paper?

The Insurance Tech Guru blog touches on a sore spot within the insurance industry for many agents; the lack of technology embracement by insurance carriers.  According to the blog author Ara Trembly “most insurers couldn't give a rat's hind quarters about making "real-time" real for agents before our time in this life runs out”.

Trembly believes this tech phobia stems from fear of agents “spreadsheeting their rates alongside their competitors’ numbers”, which will lead to consumers learning “that their insurer is overcharging them”.  This dilemma may actuallystuck_in_the_mud.jpg boil down to a simple case of greed.

Do you find that your carriers don’t offer the best in tech options when it comes to helping agents be more efficient, productive and profitable?  I think some companies are on the cutting edge of technology while others are stuck in the mud of apathy and worry.
