Update (4/30/07): Welcome to all the new visitors from John Chow Dot Com! If you're new to the site take a moment to look through some of the over 700 posts related to the insurance industry. I offer up commentary, news items, product information and anything else I come across that has anything to do with the insurance industry. Thanks for visiting and come back soon.
Ok, so I’ve decided to join the many people filing down the road of shame by taking part in the John Chow Dot Com scheme to drive more traffic to his and my blog. John Chow is the founder of thetechzone.com and purported dot com mogul who disperses pearls of wisdom through his blog about how to make money online.
John has set up an ingenious plan to get tons of inbound links to his burgeoning blog by offering other bloggers an opportunity to do a review of his blog in exchange for a link on his highly trafficked blog. I just stumbled upon his blog within the past week and although I liked his link building idea I still wanted to offer something of value to my loyal readership.
I searched his blog and actually found a post about using life insurance to shelter income (keep in mind that John lives in Canada), which discusses the potential tax saving power of life insurance. Remember that everyone should speak with a trusted advisor before purchasing a permanent life insurance policy. There are many different types of policies including whole life, universal life, equity-indexed universal life, variable life etc. One type of policy doesn’t fit all and don’t believe any agent that says the opposite.
One of the more interesting aspects of John Chow's blog is his transparency in regards to how much money he is making through his blog. He shows from month to month how his blog income has grown and from where that income is generated. All potential pro bloggers should glean as much information about how to successfully monetize your blog by reading Chow's blog.
John Chow writes about online money making opportunities with candor and at times a dash of arrogance. Skimming through some of his latest entries I see that he writes on a wide topic range with plenty of advice about how to make money online. He really drives home the important point of writing informative and unique posts with interesting and keyword rich titles. I would recommend his blog for those interested in informative posts with some entertainment value thrown in.

You did a very nice review. I saw you got the linkback and I thought that 2 is better than 1: if you review my blog too, I’m going to link back to yours.
All the best,
Simonne
