Fortunately the $10 and $15 duck sale proceeds are all going to charity. The ducks are apparently dressed as Santa Claus and when squeezed says, “Aflac, Aflac, Aflac!” Talk about a great branding tool for the company and its future consumers. Thousands of kids
growing up with their little Aflac ducks waiting to purchase insurance.The money from the sales will go to benefit 32 children’s hospitals around the United States. In addition Aflac and Macy’s also are adding an Aflac gift card to the program with a portion of card sales going to the children’s hospitals.
As an Aflac agent, I give away quite a few ducks. I am always surprised at how many people ask for a duck for thier pets.
