MassMutual Life Insurance Company Supports National Beast Cancer Awareness Month
Nationalunderwriter.com reports Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company “announced two new programs to support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”

The first program consists of MassMutual’s U.S. Insurance Group “making charitable donations of up to $3,000 to local cancer organizations that offer its Pearls of Wisdom financial education seminars during October.”

These seminars are conducted by MassMutual agents and focused on “increasing financial preparedness for individuals and families when breast cancer or other unexpected threats arise.”

The second “program” is not really a program but just a “new brochure explaining changes to MassMutual’s underwriting guidelines that reflect the more favorable long-term outlook for breast cancer survivors.”

MassMutual wants to sell their products and they are willing to spend $3,000 to just get in front of a group of people.  At least the money is going to a good cause and not into someone’s pocket.
