Does Sara Evans Need Divorce Insurance?
Divorce insurance?  Unfortunately divorce insurance doesn’t exist as far as I am aware of but the idea is an interesting one.  Take Sara Evans as an example.  Her situation is especially interesting considering she was in the middle of Dancing With The Stars and left because of extenuating circumstances due to her filing papers for divorce

I found a website called whynot.net were a person posed the question of why divorce insurance is not already being offered.  The author writes, “Rates would depend on such things as age, history of divorce, assets, income, etc.  As an added benefit, single people considering marriage could compare rates and see if they are
sara_evans.gif risk-matches.”

Of course the idea of comparing “risk-matches” while proposing or discussing marriage might not be very palatable to most.  When would one take out a divorce insurance policy and would the other spouse need to know about the insurance?  Of course there have been plenty of instances of spouses taking life insurance out under the nose of the other spouse.

An industrious person has decided to file a patent application for “Marriage insurance for protecting against divorce.” I’m sure this patent filing is due to the fact that around fifty percent of all marriages in the United States end in divorce.  Doesn’t marriage insurance sound better than divorce insurance just as life insurance is much more appealing than death insurance?

We think Marriage Insurance sounds better too. In fact, we think supporting long term marriage by rewarding people with successful marriages with cash is even more important than providing a financial safety net for people are unfortunate enough to become a statistic of divorce. Win-win. Visit www.safeguardguaranty.com for more information.
