New Mexico Hailstorm Brings A Rain Of Insurance Claims Down
Have you ever been in a hailstorm?  I for one have not and hope never to be after reading about last weeks hailstorm in Las Cruces, New Mexico on the insurancejournal.com.  Apparently golf ball-sized hail and over two inches of rain fell onto the heads and cars of residents.

Allstate reported already receiving 200 auto claims with 400 more coming along shortly.  Not to mention the 250 plus of homeowners claims.

One woman, Beverly Floyd, had extensive damage to her car, “a cracked windshield, a broken side window and numerous dents on the hood and roof.”  That is truly amazing and scary at the same time.  Nature must have been unhappy about something Las Cruces was doing.

I have been in earthquakes, the 91 Oakland fires, flooding in Arizona but never a hailstorm of that magnitude.  Does anyone have any harrowing hailstorm experiences?
