Starting on August 1st Coldwell Banker has been offering the different types of insurance. According to the president and chief operating officer of Coldwell Banker, Budge Huskey, “With the issues surrounding homeowner's insurance in the state, we really feel that strategically this service separates us from the competition.”
Coldwell Banker will initially offer “residential property and casualty insurance as well as automobile and watercraft policies.” Six employees will be placed in Florida and supported by marketing and telephone representatives from the company’s headquarters in Waltham, Mass.
Husky clarified the process, “Buyers with pending transactions will be offered an opportunity for an insurance quote, and the process will be low-key and hassle-free over the telephone."
