Horrific Tragedy Of Jailed Man Beaten To Death By Inmate In Minnesota
The insurancejournal.com reported Carl Edward Moyle, 28, was beaten to death by another inmate while being held at Sherburne County Jail because of a misdemeanor traffic violation of driving without insurance.

According to Moyle’s family “he was driving his brother's truck to work when he was pulled over and arrested.  His family says the proof of insurance was at home in a drawer and not in the glove box.”  I can’t imagine what his family is going through.

The person suspected of beating Moyle was in “county jail awaiting a court date related to an earlier attack at a state prison.”  Why was this violent prisoner in the same area as Moyle?  It does not make sense to mix a violent prisoner with a person pulled over for driving without insurance.  Regardless if the jail is crowded or not violent and non-violent inmates should be separated.

According to the family, “the suspect took a handicap railing off a stall in the bathroom, took it to the cell where Moyle was sleeping with his back turned and beat Moyle to death.”  This is a person who actually took the time to find a weapon to use on Moyle.  Why would this other inmate attack Moyle and not someone else?  He should have never been given the opportunity to choose Moyle to attack,

This should be a warning to all drivers to always have their proof of insurance in their car so as not to be put in such an awful situation.  I would hope that those pulled over for similar offenses in this country are separated from violent inmates.
