His transportation plan would force these drivers to pay fines for their transgressions. Hutchinson blamed “dumb driving for a quarter of the congestion on state roads.” His motto is, “You crash, you pay.”
I can understand his anger towards these drivers as I’m sure we all have dealt with people preoccupied with eating, beautifying and searching around their cars while attempting to drive.
Hutchinson also “supports a ban on cell phone use while driving.” Do you talk on the phone when driving? Do you think you are able to drive safely when talking on the phone? I’m sure few will answer that last question honestly if they have never been in an accident.
