I’m sure this will do wonders for insurance rates in the area. Not to mention filling up the coffers of the DMV.
Out of all those tickets 38 drunken driving arrests were made. A much less impressive though nonetheless sad half a percent of drivers ticketed. When I looked at the breakdown of tickets I was still floored by the sheer number:
Total vehicles stopped – 6,990
Speeding, inspection or seatbelt tickets – 2,200
Warning tickets – 3,800
If state troopers were to stop cars on a monthly basis in New Hampshire would the 85 percent still hold strong? Regardless of the answer the numbers indicate the majority of drivers in New Hampshire are in some sort of violation or speeding.
I would love to know the outcome in California. The percentage could possibly reach an all time high.
