Study Looks At Understanding And Popularity Of Medicare Part D
According to nationalunderwriter.com seniors like the new Medicare Part D drug program but are having some issues with understanding the new plan.  This does not come as too much of a surprise with all the options offered to Medicare beneficiaries.

A report published by DSS Research Inc. “hints at those conclusions in a report on results of a quarterly survey of U.S. seniors conducted in mid-April.”  A similar study was done in Mid-December as well.

The survey revealed” 78% of respondents were definitely or very likely going to renew Part D coverage with their current carrier while 72 % were completely or very satisfied with the ease of filling prescriptions under their Part D plan.”

The report also said, “only 58% felt that the carrier enrollment materials were extremely or very clear, and only 57% said they understand their plans benefits extremely or very well, the researchers report.”

Is anyone having problems with the Medicare material?  Does anyone have suggestions for improving future Medicare materials?
