Personal Information Of 930,000 Individuals Stolen From AIG
An American International Group (AIG) Midwest office was burglarized recently according to nationalunderwrite.com.  Computer equipment was stolen with personal data of over 930,000 individuals.  This data consisted of “names, social security numbers and perhaps some medical information on employees of companies that were seeking quotes for excess health insurance.”

AIG does not believe the theft was to pilfer personal information but solely for the computer hardware.  The information can only be accessed by password.

A phone center is in the works to help answer question from people who had their information stolen.  Also a letter will be sent to all victims of the theft.
