Washington becomes the “17th state with laws protecting gays and lesbians, and the seventh to protect transgender people.”
I did not know so many states lacked this type of law. If you are a gay or lesbian person applying for insurance in certain states you can be discriminated against for your sexual orientation. Seems like these states need to get a clue and stop discriminating.
