What They Don’t Teach You In High School About Auto Insurance
I found this very informative guide on the California Department of Insurance website, insurance.ca.gov.  I was intrigued by the title “What they don’t teach you in high school”.  This guide is within the consumer auto insurance section.

I for one was not taught anything about auto insurance in high school.  Finances, insurance, banking none of that was taught in my high school.  I graduated in 1993 with a good education but no knowledge about navigating the insurance/financial waters.

Take a look at this guide not only for your high school child but for you as well.  I am always amazed at the amount of information available to us consumers.  Yet somehow many of us continue to stay uninformed and make bad financial decisions.  I think the topic of general consumer financial confusion is a huge topic for future posts.

Did you receive any education about insurance or other financial concepts in high school?
