Earlier this month severe storms and flooding caused damage to residents and business owners in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. The acting director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) R. David Paulison made federal funding available to the following counties, “Essex, Middlesex, and Suffolk Counties in Massachusetts; in Belknap, Carroll, Hillsborough, Merrimack, Rockingham and Stafford Counties in New Hampshire; and York County in Maine” according to an article on insurancejournal.com.
Assistance will come in the form of grants for temporary housing and home repairs and low-interest loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration. A complete list of assistance being offered can be found in the insurancejournal.com article or visit fema.gov news releases section.

We live in York County, Maine, and that was a doozy of a storm. Fortunately our home insurance covered the fact that our roof blew off, but they would only pay for half of it (the side that blew off... huh?) That, of course, would lead us to use the money for the water damage to cover the cost of the other side of the roof. It was quite a storm, indeed!
